Job Purpose
Provide general support across the P&I core team with regards to planning, development processes, logistics and drives communication around it.
Responsibilities
• Ensure that the various planning and follow up tools are implemented and kept up to date;
• Coordinate and create the means required to ensure the proper flow of information among project team members (e.g. newsletters, minutes of meetings, mailing lists, Jira tasks etc.);
• Track progress in collaboration with Projects (scrum, Jira, excel, dashboards) and inform the development team about it
• Organise and coordinate task priorities between all P&I core groups to meet the demands of the internal and external clients
• Manage, and ensure that all required teams follow a daily scrum process;
• In collaborative projects, ensure a proper communication channel is set up with partner studios and report progress when needed.
• Organise, and follow up on any actions that arise from team meetings and other types of meetings whenever necessary;
• Follow up on various project organization tools and especially project flowcharts, planning, Jira production;
• Ensure that the floor plans are implemented and followed when work teams are moved, merged and/or restructured;
• See that new employees joining the P&I team are properly integrated via a core team induction;
Qualifications
Skills and Knowledge
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to adapt to change and work effectively under pressure
• Able to plan and estimate tasks and ensure timely delivery of work
• Experience using issue and project tracking software (e.g. Jira) and other task tracking tools is desirable;
• Extensive knowledge of the Microsoft suite e.g. Word, Excel, OneNote, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Relevant Experience
• Substantial working experience in a similar position (e.g. QC lead for instance);
• Previous experience in the video game industry is essential, with an understanding of production and pipeline principles.
