Intern, Laugh Out Loud - Social Media
Position Summary
Laugh Out Loud - Social Media:The Social Media Intern will play an active role in the development of Laugh Out Loud’s online community. The intern will help plan and execute a social strategy, as well as helping the social media manager maintain a comedic presence throughout LOL’s various social media platforms. Additionally, they will analyze social media activity, identify viable content ideas, and maintain a calendar of events. The intern will learn how to reach specific social communities, promote an international brand online, and gain experience with the tools used to assess social performance. An ideal candidate is beyond savvy with social media and popular influencers, skilled in MSOffice and the Adobe Creative Suite, and hungry to learn.
Internship Details
Lionsgate Internship Program – Fall 2017
Santa Monica, CA / September 11 – December 1, 2017 / 20 hours per week maximum
LIONSGATE is the leading independent filmed entertainment studio with a strong and diversified presence in motion pictures, television programming, home entertainment, family entertainment, video-on-demand and digital distribution of content.
The Lionsgate Internship Program is designed to provide interested students with a hands-on experience in the entertainment industry.

Important Dates:
• The Lionsgate Summer Internship Semester will run from September 11 – December 1, 2017.
• The last day to apply is Friday, July 7, 2017 at 5PM PST. Applications received after this date will not be considered.
• All interns are required to attend orientation on either Monday, September 11, 2017 OR Tuesday, September 12, 2017.
Details:
• All internships are located in Santa Monica, CA, unless otherwise stated. Interns must provide their own housing and transportation.
• Interns can work a minimum of 10 hours/week and up to a maximum of 20 hours/week.
• All internships are paid.
• Interns must be current sophomores through recent grads (within 6 months of internship start date).
