Job Description
Your Adventure
• Support in the implementation of practical and timely solutions that meet the game design and technical requirements.
• Work in an agile development team, taking responsibility for organising and planning their own work.
• Help maintain technical documentation for the engineering team as well as other disciplines.
• Optimise code and data for memory usage and performance as required.
• Write debugging tools for programmers, level designers and artists.
• Carry out all other related tasks.
Qualifications
Requirements
◦ Currently pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, mathematics, game programming or a similar field.
◦ Demonstrated game programming experience (personal or professional).
◦ Experience developing and debugging in C/C++ and familiar with Microsoft Visual Studio.
◦ Good understanding of data structures and algorithms.
◦ Strong mathematics background (logic, linear algebra, calculus, statistics and probability, …)
◦ Passion for gaming and familiarity with Ubisoft games.
◦ Familiarity with game engine development.
◦ Familiarity with revision control software like Perforce.
◦ Knowledge of a least one scripting language (Perl, Python, Lua, …)
◦ Knowledge of one or more of the following fields: shaders, animation, networking, physics, Max plugins, and content pipeline tools.
◦ Must be enrolled in a local institution and internship must be recognized by the school
◦ Preferred internship period: 4 – 6 months
