We are looking for a full-time Payroll Coordinator to support the Finance team at our headquarters in Olathe, Kansas. In this role you will assist with data entry of new hires and associate payroll maintenance, developing and maintaining payroll related records, perform all filing and other various administrative functions of the Payroll department, and complete Kronos timecard historical corrections/functions as requested. Other essential functions include:
• Create/Maintain all required Payroll files in an organized manner, including creating new files and archiving old files to storage
• Perform all filing responsibilities for the Payroll department
• Verify and distribute payroll checks
• Assist/Perform Kronos functions such as timecard maintenance
• Assist with research, review and audit of payroll records
• Update payroll related spreadsheets with all new, transfer, and terminated associate information
• Assist with direct deposit requests via ADP Net Secure
• Handle ADP Self Service password resets
• Administers the Sams/Costco program for Garmin
• Assist the Payroll department in various administrative tasks and projects
• Respond to employment verification requests
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned
Qualifications
Qualified candidates must possess an Associates Degree in a business related field or equivalent experience or training or a minimum of 3 years’ experience performing a role substantially similar to the essential functions of this job description. Other requirements include:
•Must be team-oriented, flexible, possess a positive attitude and work well with others
•Demonstrated proficiency using Word and Excel
•Must be detail-oriented with a proven track record of a high degree of accuracy
•Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast paced, changing environment
•Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
•Must be able to work with sensitive information in a confidential manner
Previous experience working with Kronos timekeeping system and a payroll system (inhouse or third party vendor) is highly preferred!
