JOB SUMMARY
Under the leadership of the Senior Director of Outbound Telemarketing, the Outbound Telemarketing Manager will manage day-to-day vendor performance and implement and execute customer acquisition marketing and sales strategies to support subscriber growth and revenue objectives across all products and customer segments for the sales channel.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Create and manage the monthly sales strategy for customer acquisition for all products to prospects and existing customers for the sales channel
• Develop sales execution strategies with third party vendors to execute and exceed Charter product sales, revenue, yield targets and profitability goals
• Manage marketing campaigns developing concepts and strategies to drive month over month sales growth
• Forecast monthly vendor projections and ensure optimal vendor performance
• Active management of OTM vendor partners and optimization of vendor sales performance and expense management
• Work cross-functionally with Sales Channel support teams including Finance, Legal, Business Intelligence, Operations and Database Management
• Engage in ongoing Marketing initiatives including new programs, tests and product launches as needed
• Travel required as needed
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Skills / Abilities and Knowledge
• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
• Communicate orally and in writing in a professional, clear and straightforward manner
• Knowledge of direct marketing strategies and procedures
• Strong analytical skills
• Strong communications and relationship management skills
• Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
• Ability to use personal computer and software applications
• Ability to create plans, timelines, expense forecasts, sales projections & process flowcharts
DESIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
• 5 – 10 years of Marketing experience, preferably 3 or more years specific to Direct Marketing
• Experience in strategy planning and execution and performance measurement and optimization
• Experience in subscription services and customer acquisition a plus
EDUCATION
• Bachelor's degree in marketing or related field or equivalent experience
