JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for Charter's online creative strategy, site improvements, oversight of ongoing maintenance, search engine optimization, and creative design of online campaigns. Work with content and e-business stakeholders, as well as outside development firms, as part of the e-business team.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Actively and consistently support all efforts to simplify and enhance the customer experience
• Provide creative guidance and drive creative direction of Charter web properties
• Oversee day-to-day site changes
• Identify areas for improvement - conceptualize and execute designs
• Continually evaluate design aesthetic while maintaining alignment with Charter brand
• Lead search engine optimization efforts
• Collaborate with usability study vendors to test concepts
• Oversee redesigns as needed
• Support online campaigns through the design and oversight of development of banner ads, landing pages, and execution of online campaigns
• Work with Key Partners and affiliates to design and execute co-branded efforts
• Improve current maintenance processes (ensure that product information is up to date) and work with marketing to translate marketing concepts (product positioning) into compelling online creative
• Define and maintain Charter brand guidelines and ad guidelines
• Perform other duties as requested by supervisor
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Ability to analyze and interpret data

• Demonstrates ability to create compelling and professional website pages
• Demonstrates ability to work with outside designers / developers
• Strong knowledge of design, information flow and functionality of web sites and Internet
• Ability to define and maintain online brand guidelines and strategy
• Excellent creative/aesthetic judgment combined with the ability to take ideas from multiple sources and form a cohesive, compelling creative result
• A demonstrated depth of experience in copy/design integration, typography and interactive interface design
• Excellent communication, organizational and problem solving skills, thorough attention to detail, and the capability to meet deadlines, while working both independently and as part of a team
• Knowledge and experience with HTML, JavaScript, ASP, ASP.NET, ActionScript and XML, including a deep understanding of how mocks/comps translate to code
• Expert level in Photoshop, Illustrator and Flash
Education
• Bachelors degree in Computer, Graphic Design or related field or equivalent experience
Related Work Experience
• Website development/design work experience; 4 years
• Telecommunications industry experience preferred; 1 year
