Overview:
HarperCollins Christian Publishing is in search of a Sales Coordniator for their Mass Marketing & Specialty Sales division. Provides support to all the sales reps assigned to the Mass Market & Specialty sales group.
Responsibilities:
The primary responsibilities of the Sales Coordinator include but are not limited to:
Essential Responsibilities:
Order processing & tracking, Data entry into key retailer and distributor portals, managing reports for sales division, POS tracking, manages special handling projects, shipping, and delivery procedures, curate sales presentation pages, create and update quarterly updates, and provides customer support as necessary.
Qualifications:
Desired candidate will possess the following knowledge, experience, education and skills:
Knowledge: This position requires the ability to become an expert on our customer’s data entry, POS, and inventory management systems. The use of these systems and subsequent follow up based on the information provided is a major emphasis of this position.
Work Experience: 2 years professional experience working in a sales support or administrative capacity required. Some small scale project management experience preferred.
Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
Industry Knowledge: General understanding of the book industry including the differences in the C.B.A., A.B.A. and Mass Market preferred.
Skills: Proficient in Excel, Word, Power Point. Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.
