Summary of the role:
The inventory team is responsible for the stock management of over 22,000 titles. The key role of the team is to ensure that the right amount of stock is in the right place at the right time, working within financial targets to minimize wastage and maximize cash flow.
We are seeking temporary administrative support for the Inventory Administration Manager and their team, to cover the main sales season.
Duties include: updating reports, maintaining key data, acting as a key contact for the department and providing general administration duties.
This is a busy and varied role in an exciting environment. Inventory liaise closely with all parts of the business, consequently this is a department where one can gain a real overview of how the company works, from conception of the product through to it being delivered to the customer.
Responsibilities:
• To complete daily tasks
• To produce reporting.
• To co-ordinate the shipment of product.
• To provide first-class support to the Inventory Manager, under instruction.
Qualifications
Ideal candidates will have the following skills:
• Numerate and articulate.
• Educated to A level standard with good passes in Maths and English at GCSE, or equivalent.
• Intermediate level Excel.
• Familiarity data warehouse packages
• Working knowledge of the business would be advantageous
And will be able to demonstrate the following attributes:
• Ability to prioritise workloads
• Organised and methodical, with particular regard to collating and updating data and statistics.
• Be the kind of person who can spot a potential issue.
