JOB SUMMARY
The Manager, Email and Bill Marketing is responsible for strategy development, implementation and performance analysis of marketing initiatives targeted to existing customers across multiple tactics like email and billing statements.
You will assist in the development of bill marketing, email and other direct marketing programs designed primarily to upsell PSU's and add-on products to existing customers. Your objective and responsibility will be the flawless execution of campaigns from inception through post campaign analysis.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Plan, schedule, and implement campaigns using a variety of direct marketing tactics, including inserts, ad pages and email.
• Partner with internal and external teams to determine targets and schedules; strategize and implement tests of audience, offer, creative formats and messaging
• Work closely with customer engagement team to schedule and execute engagement programs through bill marketing and email tactics.
• Analyze campaign performance across key metrics, develop meaningful reporting, and forecast performance.
• Manage Bill Marketing and Email Marketing expense budget.
• Enter Purchase Orders in the accounts payable system and track invoices.
• Identify opportunities to improve results, enhance contact strategy or extend reach. Meet or outperform defined response targets for customer upgrade programs.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
• Prior demonstrated experience with direct marketing tactics, especially bill marketing and email
• Strong attention to detail balanced with the ability to think strategically
• Ability to analyze and interpret data to make recommendations based on analysis and expertise
• Highly developed capacity for teamwork and a strong focus on the customer
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and develop recommendations autonomously
• Ability to manage multiple projects from beginning to end with sufficient autonomy
• Ability to show judgment and initiative and to accomplish job duties in a fast paced environment
• Ability to work well with people from all levels of the organization, many different disciplines and varying degrees of technical and business experience
• Ability to work under pressure
• Ability to manage and foster change
Education
• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Marketing or related discipline and/or an equivalent experience
Related Work Experience
• Direct marketing experience: 8+ years
• Marketing management: 6+ years
• Project Management: 6+ years
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
• Knowledge of cable television, high speed Internet and phone products and services preferred
