Summary:
imre is seeking a Web Designer/Front-End Developer who will be an exceptional addition to our growing team. As a Web Designer at imre, you will be part of digital projects from concepting to launch. The ideal candidate will have an affinity for technology of all kinds, be a natural problem solver, and be passionate about designing and coding beautiful web interfaces and experiences. What You’ll Do:
• Design and develop front-end web based interfaces
• Assist in the concepting and execution of digital projects including digital ads, HTML emails, websites, apps and other web based experiences
• Administer and style content for WordPress web properties
• Assess complex and varying technical challenges and offer functional, future-proof solutions
• Perform QA on web-based projects and debug front-end code
• Remain current on industry trends and new technology
Requirements:
• 2-3 years of front end development experience
• Demonstrated experience building responsive web interfaces (Javascript/jQuery, CSS, and HTML knowledge required)
• Understanding and comfort level with WordPress CMS
• Must be willing to wear multiple hats and adapt to the ever-changing digital market and needs of teams
• Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop and/or Sketch
• Passion for user experience
Experience in the following is a bonus:
• Able to design layouts as PSDs as well as code responsive web layouts.
• Experience working with WordPress on your local machine
• Working understanding of GIT and a comfort level with terminal
• Experience with SASS
