JOB SUMMARY
The Sr Mgr, Digital Marketing Strategy leverages digital expertise with web technologies and marketing to support enterprise business growth and deliver a strong digital presence for our brand. Responsible for digital strategy and execution plans that improve, consolidate and streamline the digital experience and design/editorial integrity of the Spectrum Enterprise web presence. Brings innovative ideas to capitalize on web design, content and capabilities that optimize brand, campaign and awareness objectives. Leads extended teams and creates and executes digital strategies within the B2B and enterprise space.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Sets digital marketing strategies aligned to brand and marketing objectives integrating buyers’ journey requirements, campaigns, social media and blogs.
Identifies web copy and asset requirements and establishes refresh cadence.
Analyzes web traffic metrics and suggests solutions to increase web volume, duration of visits, content engagement and conversion.
Partners with operations to optimize and understand SEO/SEM, social media marketing and campaign performance metrics
Establishes and evolves key relationships with clients across product, digital, design, and social media to nurture collaborative engagement.
Keeps up-to-date with target cohort preferences, entry points and proactively suggests new content and features to improve web traffic volume and stickiness.
Optimizes digital customer experience and ensure brand consistency.
Establishes best practices, stays current with new technologies and competitive trends.
Manages the transition and continued growth of digital workflows and utilization of effective third-party resources and platforms.
Develops strategy, workflow, and accompanying processes that streamline creative production and content revision to meet marketing, editorial, and programmatic goals.
Proactively A/B tests web designs, digital content and drive-to for greatest impact.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
Working knowledge of web analytic tools
Knowledgeable about modern marketing tools, digital best practices, and agile marketing
Exceptional verbal, interpersonal and written communication skills and a proven ability to work well with people at all levels and across all functions of the organization to achieve success
Strong analytical and project management skills
Ability to operate as creative and editorial point-of-contact to prioritize and drive large digital projects, working with key stakeholders across the organization
Clear understanding of digital best practices, integration of social media activities, digital metrics and design methods
Knowledge of SEO/SEM and CRM software
Ability to work independently
Ability to supervise and motivate others
Ability to analyze and interpret data
Education
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
Related Work Experience Number of Years
Digital marketing experience, including managing large digital projects 6-7
Management experience in a digital environment managing full life-cycle 3+
creative, content and development efforts for large-scale websites
B2B and/or enterprise environment experience preferred
