21st Century Fox (21CF) is looking for a VP of Talent Management, Performance Review & Succession Planning. This newly created position will report into the EVP, Chief Human Resources Officer and may be located in either New York or Los Angeles. The successful candidate will have a minimum of 10 years’ experience working across a global organization to enhance global talent and performance management initiatives. This individual will play a key role in discussions regarding the strategic direction of global talent management at 21CF. This role is suited to a highly-motivated professional who is interested in contributing to a diverse, multi-platform entertainment company.
Responsibilities:
• Act as a strategic partner to the businesses in defining a global talent framework
• Partner with business and functional leaders to identify high potentials/performers and support their development through customized efforts
• Manage global talent calibration
• Provide counsel and leadership coaching to accelerate personal growth; support leaders in creating customized development plans
• Advocate with leadership team to reach the right balance between keeping key talent immediately productive while encouraging them to pursue new challenges and opportunities
• Leverage the company’s global presence to orchestrate internal mobility for high potentials/performers
• Support career pathing and succession planning for enterprise talent
• Collaborate with HR leaders throughout the organization to align the performance management and feedback delivery process
• Leverage HR analytics to demonstrate ROI of talent programs
• Utilize global brand positioning to promote an innovative and cultivating workplace
Qualifications
• Bachelor degree required
• 10-15 years of demonstrated relevant experience
• Experience in leading global initiatives
• Team oriented with demonstrated ability for collaborative problem solving and execution
• Experience in project management and collaboration across a broad set of stakeholders
• Self-starter with strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Familiarity with HCM systems, preferably Workday
• Entertainment and/or technology experience a plus
