Job Title
Jr Ad Product Manager - Social & Native Ad Platforms
The Jr Ad Product Manager works on the design, build, operations, optimization and management of digital advertising campaigns, products and platforms such as: Social, Native, Custom Branded Content, and proprietary rich media ad units.
The Jr Ad Product Manager is responsible for identification of opportunities, conceptual development, functional definition, and performance management for the features and products that are part of the Meredith Ad Platform strategic roadmap as they relate to social and native advertising.
This position will work with other internal cross-functional teams, external partners and affiliated companies to develop and optimize ad platforms from conceptual modeling and design prototypes through effective life-cycle management.
Essential Job Functions
5% New Ad Product Development
• Develop new features that support the Digital Advertising Social & Native strategy
• Integrate determined value proposition into business objectives and success metrics
• Develop product requirements documents
• Develop product marketing materials
• Manage product and feature launch efforts
• Provide opportunity analysis for new products & features
5% Product Management
• Maintain and optimize existing features to optimize customer engagement and satisfaction
• Track and analyze key product and feature metrics
• Work closely and collaboratively with key departments
• Maintenance, improvements, and creation of ad production documentation
90% Ad Product Operations
• Design / Mock new ad product ideas for sales and development teams
• Set up new social and native ad campaigns and creatives in Meredith’s proprietary CMS as well as across social channels
• Build Custom Branded Content pages through our proprietary CMS
• Monitor & optimize performance of social and native ad campaigns and provide internal reporting
Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements | All must be met to be considered.
Education:
BA or higher education
Experience:
• Minimum 1 year of experience in Digital Advertising / Media
• Minimum 1 year of experience in AdOps and / or advertising & web design (preferred)
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Working understanding of CSS, HTML and other web design skills (nice to have)
• Excel (required)
• Photoshop, JS, Web Design skills (preferred)
• Query language (e.g. SQL) (preferred)
• Proactive, ability to work both independently and as part of a team, seeks knowledge and ways to improve current products & processes
• Critical thinking and multi-tasking skills are a must
• Highly organized & detail oriented
• Excellent presentation and communication skills and ability to speak to senior management team[s]
• Team player & positive outlook
