Job Description
Summary
Under the supervision of the Content manager and in collaboration with the E-Commerce team, the Digital Marketing Coordinator will manage the E-Commerce social channels. He/she will be responsible of member’s interactions to increase the number of fans/followers and engagement metrics. He/she will develop the content calendar, create content pieces, manage the communities and analyse results, including the creation and execution of programs designed to enhance and extend audience, 1x1 relationship building with core active members and support related to content published by Ubisoft E-commerce channels (Ubiworkshop, Store Ubi). Support must be provided professionally utilizing clear written or oral communication.
Responsibilities:
1. Content Production- in collaboration with the Content and E-commerce team, develop content and concepts for the different communication pulse points and social platforms according to set strategies and priorities.
• Content ideation and production:
Produce and develop digital content (video, photography, images, etc.) for the E-Commerce owned channels in collaboration with the eCommerce web designer;
Copywriting for our owned channels (blog, social media, site, etc.);
Occasionally, conduct video interviews.
• Create engaging contents with a set KPIs;
• Develop the content calendar;
• Content production coordination: coordinate agency and internal briefing (when necessary), get necessary approvals and ensure the respect of deadlines, traffic assets.
2. Community Management – build relationship with our customers to keep a positive sentiments toward our brands.
• Animate and engage communities;
• Address customer concerns, inquiries by interactions in a professional and friendly manner;
• Moderate our communities and maintain positive activity through conversation management as needed.
3. Social Media - Monitoring appropriate metrics to evaluate success of content/posts.
• Monitor and maintain positive activity on our social properties, through moderation of fan posts and conversation management as needed;
• Create weekly reports on the status of our social activity and sentiment;
• Create special reports as requested.
4. Collaboration with E-Commerce and Marketing teams:
• Understand E-Commerce team objectives and adapt content and social media strategy accordingly;
• Collaborate with Content team to share best practices and benchmarks.
Qualifications
• 1 or 2 years of experience producing and developing digital content (photos, videos, images, etc.);
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication or Public Relations;
• Strong knowledge of gaming and online culture;
• Strong written and oral communication skills, bilingual (English/French);
• Creative and innovative;
• Resourceful, but also a team player;
• Experience in community management and customer relationships;
• Extensive knowledge of social media platforms (particularly Facebook and Instagram);
• Must have strong organizational skills; be detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple concurrent tasks/projects;
• Not afraid to be in front of the camera;
• Brand journalism experience is a plus.
