Responsibilities
NBC Universal is looking for a Product Leader to build delightful, impactful, high-growth advertising products for its mobile-focused offering. The ideal candidate is a collaborative person passionate about digital media and mobile advertising innovation. The ideal candidate cares about users, understand the value of the experience, the impact on the business and the importance of the context surrounding advertising. This position is based in our New York office.
Responsibilities as part of the innovation product team:
• Help establish our mobile-focused advertising core product offering, build it up and evolve it
• Work closely with product leadership to define, specify and drive the execution on NBC mobile-focused advertising offering
• Facilitate conversation amongst key stakeholders to provide insights and inform product strategy, design, roadmaps and timelines
• Collaboratively determine key performance indicators with the team, and then consistently test and evaluate data to drive progress and consistently improve the fundamental metrics
• Work cross-functionally to strategize, plan and build compelling ad features and ad solutions for our various mobile distribution platforms
• Think holistically about our product offering, and how the strategy fits into the larger ecosystem of distributed content and native platform industry
• Own a product area and prioritize work to maintain a high standard of quality
Qualifications/Requirements
• Significant product experience, including leading product-design and product development that involve cross-functional collaboration
• Detail-oriented, organized and practical, and knows how to take the seed of an idea through to launch and how to prioritize effectively to get things done.
• Fluent with data and know how to dissect and leverage it to understand user behavior, measure product performances, identify pinch-points and inform decision making
• Extraordinary communicator in every medium — from Slack to video conferencing to in-person gatherings
• An understanding of the technical ins-and-outs and operational requirements of projects and products - You don’t need to be an engineer, but you need to speak the engineering language (APIs, technical systems…).
