Responsibilities
The International Dubbing Coordinator will collaborate with our localization teams to ensure delivery of all dubbing, casting, and translation materials. He/she will ensure all materials are delivered on time and to our technical specifications. Additionally, they will be the liaison and work closely with our dubbing studios who are overseeing our growing TV and theatrical initiatives. He/she will be responsible for schedules and ensuring important deadlines are met for all of our localization partners globally in 40+ languages.
Dubbing Operations:
• Liaise and follow-up with internal production teams and studios to ensure schedules and deliveries are met
• Collaborate and assist dubbing supervisors with all troubleshooting and technical dubbing operations issues for each territory
• Assist supervisors with follow-up, tracking, data entry and maintenance of all database information (dubbing and material delivery schedules)
• Assist supervisors with sharing dubbing materials and mixing schedules between DWA International Dubbing and local dubbing studios
• Assist with the creation of dialogue lists for dubbing
• Assist with the creation of spotting lists for subtitling, including archival of translated lists
• Ensure that all dubbing studios are set up on Media Silo, Pix and Aspera and troubleshoot any related issues (e.g., uploading and downloading of assets to and from DWA)
• Administration/Finance:
• Assist in the vetting and tracking of all new and existing dubbing studios. Update and maintain rate card, tech specs, company profiles, studio capacity, etc.
• Create and process all JIRA’s for all Netflix and non-Netflix projects
• Handle creation and maintenance of cost tracking reports for all international non-Netflix projects/deals, worldwide
Desired Characteristics
• Technical knowledge of dubbing process and software
• 2–4 years of experience in international dubbing operations
• Bachelor’s Degree preferred
• Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Microsoft Power Point, Microsoft Project)
• Bilingual/Multi-lingual language skills preferred
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Self-starter
• Strong ability to multi-task under pressure
