DESCRIPTION:
Manage numerous video, mobile, and emerging platforms entertainment projects from concept inception through launch for CBS Entertainment and for specific show properties. Develop the vision, strategy, and roadmap for video products and translate into product definition, epics and stories that can be communicated to engineering, QA and other cross-functional site and app stakeholders. Manage and mentor one product manager responsible for delivering against the video products vision, strategy, and roadmap. Collaborate with internal developers, designers and external partners to implement and manage product features, direct QA efforts and to grow ongoing third party relationships. Advocate for CBS product users and create detailed and comprehensive product requirement documents detailing innovative and effective product experiences. Act as business owner for video, mobile, and emerging platforms products throughout their lifecycle and work to resolve bugs or issues quickly and efficiently. Operate both independently and as part of a broader team; juggle multiple tasks and projects simultaneously in a results-oriented environment. Work with marketing managers to create growth and retention strategies for video, mobile, and emerging platforms products. Manage upgrades, rebuilds and additional porting of applications to new platforms. Interpret usage data and develop reports and presentations analyzing product usage. Act as liaison between wide range of internal clients, including Product, Legal, Ad Operations, Video Operations, Project Management, Design, Executive stakeholders, and Marketing. Be an in-house video, mobile, and emerging platforms expert; stay up to date on the latest in mobile devices, streaming media technologies, connected devices and other emerging platform.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must have a Bachelor’s in Computer Science. Must have two years of online or mobile product management experience. The two years of experience must include experience with mobile or connected devices; SCRUM or Agile; consumer research; product strategy; pricing; online promotion; drafting Product Requirement Documents (PRDs), user stories, and usage/revenue forecast models; video delivery and streaming media technologies; itunes Connect, Google Play and Amazon app store submission tools and processes; Omnigraffle; XML, HTML, Photoshop; Omniture; and Web, iOS, or Android Platform; Must successfully pass a background check.
