Ellation is seeking to hire a highly motivated VP, Product to lead product development initiatives for Crunchyroll and VRV brands. The ideal candidate would be go above and beyond to develop a deep understanding of the company, as well as its existing and potential affiliates, consumers, and partners, through analysis. In addition, it is essential to have a thorough understanding of digital video market segments, and continually assess the competitive landscape and emerging industry trends. We have a uniquely positioned advantage in the market and have partnered with AT&T and The Chernin Group to make a big impact in the OTT space. Crunchyroll is among the 10 SVOD services on the market.
In the role the ideal candidate would partner with key stakeholders to define the product vision, strategy, roadmap, and supporting metrics required to deliver and enhance a best in class digital video customer experience. He/She would lead the development of detailed product requirements and analysis documents and work cross-functionally with engineering, design, marketing, and project management teams to identify, prioritize, develop, and launch world class video experience to support customer acquisition and engagement. In addition, it is a main duty for the VP, Product to drive the projects to develop software applications, including web desktop software applications, smartphone mobile applications for iOS / Android, and other smart TV/media applications that stream videos on demand and other digital content. Collaborating with other teams is essential, both inside and outside of the company, including partners / content producers, business development, content acquisition, legal, marketing, finance, customer service, and operations, for the main purpose of launching products and features. The VP, Product would also manage projects and prioritize and resolve conflicts to help Ellation, Inc. launch best software applications.
Special Skills:
Applicants must have 5 years of demonstrative:
• Product management/ wireframe tools, including Balsamic, Lucid Charts, and Visio.
• Experience in managing and defining technical projects for software applications, systems, platforms and services.
• Demonstrated strategic thinking, data driven prioritization through projects management tools like Jira, Microsoft Project and/or Mac/ iOS.
• Applicants must have 2 years of demonstrated experience with: Gathering product feature requirements and defining user experience; and performing market sizing activities, customer segmentation, and future market strategic analysis for software applications.
Minimum Education Requirement:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Management, Economics, or related field
Minimum Experience Requirement:
• 5 year of experience
