Summary
Yelp is looking for a Marketing Coordinator to join its Business Performance Marketing team. You’ll support the planning and execution of marketing programs to increase adoption of Yelp Advertising products. You’ll also be detail-oriented, confident on operational aspects such as building complex campaigns in advertising platforms and marketing automation systems, and have experience or a strong interest in B2B (preferably SMB) marketing.
To be successful, you should be relentlessly process driven, a stellar communicator, and detail-oriented (in case we hadn’t mentioned it). When life gives you lemons, is your first instinct to color code and organize these lemons? If so, we’d love to hear from you.
You will:
• Set up and launch performance marketing campaigns on Google, Facebook, Twitter and other platforms.
• Use Marketo marketing automation platform to set up email campaigns to educate, engage, and convert SMB prospects and advertisers on Yelp.
• Assist with copy editing, and work with Marketing Managers and Creative team to develop on and offline campaigns each month. Execute on tasks to optimize live campaigns.
• Manage creative briefs and workflow for new marketing content and collateral. Ensure campaign materials are delivered on time and within agreed strategy and plan.
• Proactively identify and troubleshoot issues in complex marketing programs.
• Monitor industry news and developments as well as competitors and industry leaders for emerging trends and platforms.
You'll need:
• 1 year experience (or equivalent internship experience) working for company acquiring/retaining business customers primarily via online marketing channels. Small business marketing experience is a big plus
• Strong writing, communication and presentation skills as you may be writing some copy or subject lines
• Ability to learn quickly, manage time effectively, and apply new tools and creative techniques to challenges

• Bachelor’s degree required
If you have the following, it would be a plus:
• Experience executing marketing campaigns, preferably in platforms such as Google AdWords, Facebook Ads Manager/Power Editor, Marketo, etc.
• HTML knowledge; ability to troubleshoot simple HTML errors
