Responsibilities
Role Summary
The HR Operations Analyst is responsible for assisting the HR Operations team with supporting and enhancing HR processes and systems for all employees. This position will report to the SAP Security Manager and is part of a broader team in HR Operations that is responsible for all aspects of supporting and maintaining the SAP Human Capital Management (HCM) system in addition to other systems supported by the HR Operations team. This position serves as a point-of-contact for assigned functional areas and assists subject matter experts with ensuring data integrity, maintaining proper system access, testing system changes, developing reports and analyzing data flows for process improvement opportunities. This position will support all NBCU businesses using both on premise and cloud based HR solutions. This position will be based in Englewood Cliffs, NJ.
Responsibilities
System Maintenance
Assist in the review, testing and implementation of HR System upgrades and patches
Serves as liaison between functional areas to resolve system and process issues
Collaborates with functional and technical teams to coordinate upgrades or fixes
Ensures data security and standards are adhered to and ensures local compliance
Documents processes and results
Production Support
Ability to meet Tier 2 Service Level Agreements (SLAs) for any escalated HR System related issues from the Tier 1 team
Provides functional support for HR System, includes researching and resolving system issues via root cause analysis, unexpected results or process flaws, performing scheduled activities, recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements
Develops and maintains a variety of security audit reports or queries utilizing applicable reporting tools
Maintains security related configuration and end users authorizations
Projects/Process Improvements
Recommends and/or supports process improvements and policy/program changes
Actively search, creatively design and implement effective solutions and platforms that can be used to enhance the user experience and performance of HR System
Serves as a key liaison with 3rd parties and other stakeholders on projects aimed at improving HR performance and efficiency, including but not limited to large-scale deployments
Use project management skills in managing projects - May provide overall project management for a given HR initiative
Training
Develops user procedures, guidelines and documentation
Trains new HR system users on new processes/functionality
Qualifications/Requirements
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business, Technology or equivalent relevant work experience
Minimum of 2 to 3 years of HRIS related experience
Intermediate to advanced expertise with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio)
