Role Purpose
The Employee Experience Specialist will be responsible for leading initiatives and activities to improve the employee experience across their holistic employment lifecycle. The focus will be on engaging employees before they join the company, professional development while working at NBCUniversal, creating a community at work, and making this the best place to work. This individual will mainly focus on CNBC but also have responsibility for engagement across the Englewood Cliffs facility. The position will report directly to the SVP, Human Resources, CNBC.
Responsibilities
Create a new hire orientation for Englewood Cliffs that complements NBCUniversal’s on-boarding. The experience must include a focus on all US based CNBC locations.
Upgrade the new hire guide for all CNBC locations.
In partnership with HR business partners, finance, PR, facilities, etc, plan and execute a strategic employee events calendar, including but not limited to community service, cross business unit initiatives, and NBCUniversal programs.
Develop and manage a mentorship program to drive employee development and growth
Define a streamlined off-boarding process in partnership with facilities, IT, security and finance.
Act as the liaison for all Englewood Cliffs cross department collaboration
Execute on CNBC Diversity Taskforce goals and partner to develop long term plans to improve inclusion and development for everyone to work here
Partner with the on-site gym to develop an employee wellness strategy
Support key HR initiatives, including performance management, actioning succession planning priorities, etc
Create an internal communications brand and strategy
Liaise with the NBCUniversal Talent Lab to create CNBC training opportunities and share best practices
Research and understand industry trends to bring new ideas to the organization
Work on special assignments and projects
Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications
BA/BS in Human Resources or related field
Minimum 3 years HR experience, preferably in Talent Development or Organizational Development
