As an intern you will get to work with a variety of our staff, while working on real projects that will help us grow. Our ideal candidate is someone who excels in an online environment and enjoys building communities. You will have administrative duties in developing and implementing marketing strategies, both in person and online. You’re comfortable creating and posting videos, often appearing as the star of your own show. This internship will help you acquire marketing skills and provide you with knowledge of various marketing strategies. You will work closely with the digital and sales teams, gaining an understanding of digital implementation strategies.
Your Responsibilities:
• Assist with the preparation and delivery of training materials
• Provide support to social media efforts
• Perform market analysis and research on competition
• Support the marketing team in daily administrative tasks
• Assist in marketing and advertising promotional activities (e.g. social media, direct mail and web)
• Prepare promotional presentations
• Help distribute marketing materials
• Manage and update company database and customer relationship management systems (CRM)
• Help organize marketing events
Qualifications
• All majors are encouraged to apply. Must have successfully completed at least one year of coursework by December 2017.
• Applicants must be at least 18 and full-time undergraduates during the 2017- 2018 academic year, attending classes at a Canadian college or university, and having permission to work in Canada. Distance education and online students are welcome to apply.
