JOB SUMMARY
The Sr. Marketing Specialist is responsible for the management, maintenance, and development of Small Business (SMB) marketing programs. These include direct and email marketing campaigns, digital and web marketing efforts, product and sales collateral, and other corporate marketing activities for Charter.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
• Actively and consistently support all efforts to grow the Spectrum Business brand, increase qualified sales leads, and simplify and enhance the customer experience
• Assist with the development of email matrices and campaign deployment, including project coordination with cross functional teams, and working with analytics on performance tracking
• Participate in the development and transmission of monthly Insights, customer newsletter, to include managing the Insights website and working with web, email and content partners
• Execute and manage a comprehensive bill insert, ad page and bill message program
• Update sales and product collateral, including management of portals, working with product management, sales ops, and offer teams
• Maintain marketing materials on internal COIN site to ensure all materials are accurate, organized and up-to-date
• Support digital marketing including management of digital tickets and tracking progress and status
• Manage internal customer communications, to include development and management of a marketing calendar
• Maintain, assign, and test toll-free marketing numbers and campaign URLs and landing pages
• Manage and maintain all legal disclaimers
• Work with mass media team to traffic TV, radio, print, and digital creative and maintain ISCI's
• Create new reference and testimonial program for customer acquisition efforts
• Manage invoices and tracking of expenses related to SMB marketing; submit monthly accruals and control expenses by managing project timelines and vendors
• Perform other duties as requested by supervisor
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
• Ability to review creative to develop effective creative briefs and review creative deliverables to ensure that they are delivering on messaging objectives and brand strategy
• Knowledge of online, web, email, direct marketing, and advertising strategies and procedures
• Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks at one time
• Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
• Ability to show judgment and initiative and to accomplish job duties
• Ability to communicate orally and in writing in a clear and straightforward manner
• Ability to communicate with all levels of management and company personnel
• Ability to relate to vendors, advertising agencies, customers and potential customers
• Ability to analyze and interpret data
• Ability to maintain confidentiality
• Ability to make decisions and solve problems while working under pressure
• Ability to travel and exhibit at events/trade shows professionally
• Ability to work in MS Office applications: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, as well as Outlook and CRM tools
• Knowledge of cable and telecommunications products and services is preferred
Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Advertising or related field, or equivalent experience
Related Work Experience
• Marketing work experience 3+ years to include:
◦ Experience managing an email program
◦ Experience with creative production
◦ Experience managing a budget
◦ Experience with websites and digital marketing
