Job Description:
Here you’ll get to:
• Market analysis: assist in creating detailed digital market analyses including usage, retail offerings, revenue trends and projections, covering:
• Digital advertising
• AV / music video / live streaming
• Social media platforms
• Messaging platforms
• Gaming
• VR/AR/MR
• Music services / internet radio
• Music discovery and personalization
• Technology: Research latest developments and key players in the audio detection and digital finger-printing space such as audible magic; test and determine effectiveness of each
• Consumer trends: analyze and summarize high-level consumer trends by demographic segment, e.g. determine time share for millennials on mobile devices
• Focus groups: analyze and distill specific focus group results for media consumption trends; TBD: conceptualize and conduct focus group studies together with WMG Analysis and Research team
It would be music to our ears if you also had:
• Expert in excel and financial modeling
• Ability to digest and analyze large amounts of data
• Proficiency in creating executive summaries and presentation decks
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Strategic thinker
• Passionate about the music industry
• Able to work 9 consecutive 37.5 hours weeks during Summer 2017
• Enrolled in a full time undergraduate or graduate program
