The Director of Talent Acquisition is primarily responsible for attraction and recruitment strategies for our Technology, Operations and Global Product businesses. This role will own the plan that meets business needs, fills skill gaps and supports growth. Will be accountable for the operation of our global Tech & Ops and Product recruitment, candidate experience, and driving team capability, effectiveness and efficiency. This role reports to the Vice President Talent Acquisition and is a member of the TA leadership team.
Responsibilities include:
• Partnering closely with HRBPs and business leaders to define workforce planning needs and design strategies to meet those needs
• Developing a globally consistent framework, process and toolkit for developing best-in-class recruitment capabilities in all key markets; measure progress through rigorous KPIs
• Responsibility for program development that builds external global employer brand strategy in partnership with Corporate Affairs to attract great talent and deliver a positive candidate experience
• Building operational capabilities through vendor management, sourcing strategies, assessment tools and market benchmarking
• Creating engaged team environment and capable staff with opportunities for growth across Talent Acquisition
• Managing a team of professionals and managers located across the US, UK and Sri Lanka
Primary Responsibilities
1. Create a roadmap to ensure each line of business is positioned to attract and hire high quality talent in all market areas
2. Take a leading role in executive recruitment and pipelining to close key skill gaps at the executive and leadership level
3. Set strategic direction for analytics, drawing out trends and meaningful insights based on data, that support business outcomes
4. Deliver on agreed KPIs and be accountable for service efficiency and quality
5. Monitor solutions, policies, vendors, candidate and employee feedback to drive continuous improvement across the resourcing process
6. Keep self and team appraised of leading practices, monitor and evaluate future legislation and market trends and consider innovative solutions to best serve the business
Qualifications
Required knowledge and experience
• Deep functional expertise in talent acquisition leadership positions including recruitment best practice, employment law, market segmentation, candidate attraction
• Experience leading Technology, Engineering and/or Product Development Talent Acquisition teams at a global level
• Ability to build relationships and interface effectively with internal and external customers in a positive, cooperative and professional manner at all times; collaborative work style and track record in cross-team successes
• Strong problem solving, analytical thinking and process capabilities with experience in delivering change programs
• Must be able to work effectively in a team, matrixed structured environment, with a certain level of ambiguity
• Project management skills are required; must be able to support deliverables, with strong follow-through capabilities; risk assessment and mitigation; business case writing and story-telling
• Must be able to work with and maintain company confidential and proprietary information
