Job Description
Ubisoft Entertainment, a global leader in the video games and entertainment software industry, is currently seeking a full-time Web Content Coordinator. The Web Content Coordinator is responsible for working closely with the US Web Production team and other internal partners, to manage content across multiple online destinations. The ideal candidate will have experience and skills in hands-on site management, web content management, writing and editing for the web (ideally with English and French bilingual level efficiency), graphic design, and client services. The Web Content Coordinator reports to the Manager, Web Development.
Responsibilities:
• Manage and implement copy, graphics, video, and other media for web publication;
• Rewrite, edit, and update existing content across multiple websites;
• Evaluate, prioritize, integrate, and manage website content across multiple web properties;
• Copy edit, proofread, and work with team to approve all content;
• Assist to manage and follow production schedules and resources for website content;
• Excellent attention to detail in assisting with site localization, QA, and approvals.
Qualifications:
• 1+ years in project and/ or website management;
• 1+ years in website content development and integration of content;
• Knowledge of web standards, browser compatibility issues, and accessibility issues;
• Hands on skills with HTML, CSS, Photoshop, FTP, and be familiar with Content Management Systems;
• The ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment;
• Excellent client services skills, and the ability to develop and maintain long-term business relationships;
• Experience managing a content-oriented website;
• Ability to evaluate designs and content to ensure that it is visually appealing, meets brand guidelines, and exhibits all of the 'best practices' for presenting web content to a general or specifically-targeted audience;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including native or bilingual efficiency in English especially and French.
