SUMMARY
Hulu’s Corporate Communications team is seeking a Corporate Communications Coordinator who will be an exceptional addition to our corporate communications team. As the corporate communications coordinator you support the corporate communications team initiatives, campaigns, events and strategy. The Communications Coordinator role requires a strong ability to multi-task, a sharp focus for detail and an innate sense of urgency to promptly respond to team and media requests. The Corporate Communications Coordinator must be a self-starter, highly resourceful, a problem solver with proven strong written and oral communication skills. He/she must have a passion for the entertainment and technology industries and the business of communications, a ‘can-do’ attitude and a hunger to master the basics of the corporate communications field.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
• Support the corporate communications team’s strategic initiatives, strategies and campaigns.
• Maintain and update team calendars including speaking, awards, editorial and event calendars.
• Assist with the Hulu speaking program including drafting speaking submissions and making recommendations on incoming opportunities.
• Assist with drafting press materials including announcements, pitches and media alerts.
• Manage and track corporate communications team budgets, manage expense reports and budget tracking.
• Manage coverage tracking and monitoring for Hulu corp comm, including weekly and monthly AirPR reports, daily clippings and weekly recaps.
• Be first responder to the Hulu Media Inbox, routing media requests as appropriate.
• Compose first drafts of briefing documents.
• Compile and organize weekly team agendas; track action items and circulate minutes.
• Organize and maintain folders on team drive to ensure team materials are updated and current.
• Manage and update corporate press site.
• Manage media lists and media list databases.
• Perform administrative duties including booking travel and accommodations, managing PR equipment, mailing packages, booking team meetings and other duties.
WHAT TO BRING
• 1-3 years in PR/Communications
• Excellent project management and organization skills.
• Exceptional writer. Recognized for ‘near-perfection’ writing and editing skills, often asked to edit the work of others, and knowledge of the AP style of writing/editing.
• Exceptional verbal communications skills.
• Exceptional with Microsoft Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Keynote)
• Demonstrated ability as a self-starter, detail-oriented, with strong editing skills.
• Team player with leadership skills. Ability and desire to interact with people at all management levels.
