Job Summary:
The Senior Director will help to lead Comcast's Influencer Strategy a multifaceted initiative to identify and communicate with our company's most important audiences. This leader will have the opportunity to help redefine how we communicate externally and partner with executives across the company to manage our influencer strategy. The role will include corporate events, influencer outreach, content creation, executive communication and coordination with the company's social media strategy.
MajorResponsibilities:
-Partner with executives from across the company to help lead the corporation's influencer strategy a multifaceted initiative to identify and communicate with our company's most important audiences.
-Lead teams from communications, government affairs, marketing and the business units on issue-specific proactive communications opportunities that enable us to tell our story to key audiences in new ways.
-Manage and execute Comcast's corporate event strategy and create experiences to reach media and technology influencers in key markets including SF and NY.
-Lead and/or support various executive communications for Comcast's senior leaders, including messaging, speeches, event support, etc.
-Partner with corporate advertising, digital and social teams on content creation, earned and paid social campaigns and initiatives at the corporate level.
-Work with the technology and corporate digital teams to develop a set of digital tools that provide the backbone for the corporate influencer strategy.
-Create written corporate communications materials for the influencer strategy.
Requirements:
-Bachelor's Degree or Eqivalent
-Keen communications intuition, strong interpersonal skills and a team-player approach.
-Results-oriented, assertive, dynamic, energetic, confident, articulate and a self-starter able to manage multiple projects simultaneously and independently.
-Savvy, smart, efficient, fast-working, results-oriented creative leader.
-Hands-on with an ability to think strategically and execute being able to do this effectively is key to success.
-Great communicator, writer that can manage complex projects and deliver.
-Productive under pressure and able to deal with change.
-Ability to influence and engage leadership, direct and indirect reports and peers.
-10 to 15 years experience in communications and particularly in large and small event management, creative execution and project management.
-Creative and thoughtful insight on how new media technologies can be used (both non-paid and paid) to communicate and to measure effectiveness and results.
-Exceptional oral, interpersonal and presentation skills and the ability to effectively interface with senior management.
-Energetic, flexible, collaborative, highly creative and proactive.
-Excellent judgment and creative problem-solving skills, including negotiation and conflict resolution skills.
-Ability to make decisions in a fast-paced, evolving environment and anticipate future needs and trends.
