The Product Marketing Manager will work with a small product team within PRH in and agile development environment to incubate technology products that support business opportunities in collaboration with company leadership. He/she will work across departments and with internal PRH IT resources and outsourced developer resources to build, test, ship, and iterate these products through business development, launch, and early lifecycle phases with a focus on building consumer and partner user growth to achieve scale.
The Product Marketing Manager will report to the Leader of PRH Labs and work closely with the Director of Technology to execute the product vision and create pathways to adoption. He/she will contribute to the entire product lifecycle of PRH Labs products, working closely with Divisional and Business leads throughout the company to define requirements, set the product path, plan deliverables, and execute on the timetables agreed in conjunction with partner teams inside and outside PRH.
Strong product marketing experience and skills are essential, including: data-driven marketing approaches (such as web/email/mobile campaigns and analytics, customer surveys, focus groups), business model development (such as market sizing, pricing approaches, feature prioritization, Excel model building), product collaboration methodologies and tools (such as agile and Scrum, JIRA, Slack, BaseCamp). The ability to communicate and work with developer resources on the team, outsourced, or across the company will be important. Highly developed presentation and communication skills for working with business and nontechnical leads throughout the company (including Powerpoint skills, compelling in-person and written communication) and with external partners will also be crucial to success.
Requirements:
• Minimum 3-5 years work experience in a product marketing role or capacity
• Undergraduate degree or equivalent work experience, MBA preferred
• Ability to work collaboratively in small, flexible, fast-moving multifunctional teams a requirement
• Experience in launching software products a strong plus
• Background in technology, media, or retail sectors a strong plus
• Strong analytical skills essential
• Love of reading and books essential
