Knopf is looking for a Designer to support the Vintage & Anchor imprint. Responsibilities include the following:
• Preparing cover mechanical and final art files to send to production (cover reprints, movie tie-ins, hardcover adaptations, export and mass market editions)
• Working closely with the art director, managing editor and production
• Extensive knowledge of InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop
• Experience with 4 color printing/pre-press files
Qualifications:
• Ability to juggle several projects at a time
• Proficiency with InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat,
• Strong attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills and time management skills
• Publishing industry experience
