Duties for the The Bowery Presents Marketing Intern Include:
• Help digital and social marketing team with day to day tasks such as drafting, executing, and summarizing social media strategy
• Aide in researching promotional partners and influencers for NY area shows - learn to solicit promotional proposals and track promotional tickets across several shows
• Maintain a list of designers and influencers for future promotions
• Assist and engage in the creative process of ongoing digital marketing campaigns- design and localize ad-mats for club shows
• Assist in scheduling new content from upcoming shows
• Learn to draft and summarize advertising and promotional plans for events
• Coordinate poster printing and distribution across venues
Internship Qualifications:
• Must be a junior, senior, or graduate student at a full-time and accredited college or university with a major in a related field
• Highly motivated, dedicated, resourceful and creative with a passion for music
• Strong understanding of social media platforms including: Twitter, Facebook and Instagram
• Previous work experience (industry related experience is encouraged)
• Works well in a team environment
• Commitment to 16-20 hours work per week during semester
• Provide proof of eligibility to work in the U.S.
• Computer literacy in MS Office programs (or other programs if the position demands it, Adobe Photoshop, Acrobat, etc.)
• Can provide own housing and transportation to and from office in New York, NY
