Job Description
Role Summary
The Video Editor is responsible for technical and creative work in the preparation of video for the project, and he/she must ensure that the videos meet the specific goals and quality.
He/she is also responsible for consistently branding videos by creating and integrating graphic assets.
Responsibilities
• Assist product manager in gameplay captures
• Shoot dev team members for internal and external documentaries
• Edit videos to include sound effects, dialogue, music
• Participate in the brand visual identity definition and its application in video format by consistently branding videos
• Set timeline targets and meet deadlines
Qualifications
Requirements
• 3 years’ experience
• Demonstrated skill and experience in industry standard content production tools: Adobe Flash, Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere and After Effects.
• Good understanding of storyboard flow, pacing and messaging.
• Efficient in motion graphics; motion design is a plus.
• Efficient in producing video content: camera framing, lighting and audio set-up for staff interviews, live events, and capturing gameplay footage.
• Having an eye for detail: able to select specific visual effects, audio and music cues, and composite together to effectively tell a story.
• Able to make quick iterations based on feedback and guides.
• Comfortable with DSLR photo, video applications, and film camera.
• Good knowledge of image and video formats, compression settings and resolutions
• Strong graphic design skills.
• Excellent communication skills, proactively engage with internal stakeholders to understand and fulfil video requests.
• Interest in video games or motion pictures a plus.
• Creativity and proactivity in answering the marketing brief.
• Organized and able to meet deadlines.
• Able to understand and follow a brand and game DNA and creative guidelines.
