Responsibilities
OVERVIEW
The Programming Assistant is responsible for building, proofing, and adjusting TV schedules within the internal scheduling system and distributing programming information. The assistant will also work closely with the Programming Coordinators to ensure that both content strategies and scheduling strategies are aligned. This position is heavily reliant on the scheduling system, adjusting data as well as data entry.
Job Duties
Responsible for entering programming grids into scheduling system, as well as making changes to these schedules when necessary.
Maintenance of episodic, synopsis, and ratings information within system for all programs, including translated data received from third party services. Also create excel documents in which contain the episodic and synopsis information for internal distribution.
Extract weekly programming reports for all regions and deliver to IBOPE for ratings results.
Extract inventory and grid reports for internal and external use.
Participate and contribute in monthly programming strategy meetings.
Screening and reviewing content (inventory and potential acquisitions), and provide summary of content when needed.
To generally assist in day to day duties of programming department (i.e. schedule meetings, filing, printing, etc.)
Provide support to Technical Operations department, including following up on materials delivery and troubleshooting programming schedules when necessary.
Assist in special projects as needed by Manager.

Qualifications/Requirements
Basic Qualifications
1-2 years’ experience Media, Entertainment or Advertising industries (desirable)
2-4 years in an accredited institution
