DESCRIPTION:
He/She will be a member of the Research team, primarily focused on market research projects that support marketing, advertising, programming, strategy and sales initiatives. Under the guidance and direct supervision of the Manager, he/she will be integral to maintaining the Consumer Tracking Study and Online Research Community. The Analyst will also support the cross-platform research function, by contributing to regular tracking and reporting of programming across various on demand platforms.
Specific Responsibilities
• Day to day management of the SNI tracking study - executing requests to the vendor, reviewing and evaluating data deliverables and interpreting data
• Regular involvement in ad hoc consumer intelligence projects (including Key art and copy testing)
• Utilize strong analytical skills to compile and process data, tell a story and draw actionable conclusions. Think creatively to find the best approach and angles.
• Write/design surveys for the Showtime consumer panel and track and analyze results, including summarizing feedback.
• Create charts/graphs for internal analyses and presentations
• Track and analyze the performance of Showtime programming On Demand and via streaming platforms
• Provide ad-hoc data analysis under tight deadlines as required
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must have some knowledge of and strong interest in television research
• Interest in and exposure to new technologies within the television industry a plus
• Must possess an aptitude for working with numbers and be highly analytical and organized, capable of prioritizing assignments, detail oriented, resourceful and proactive
• Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with clients and other staff
• High level proficiency in Microsoft Office a must: Excel, PowerPoint, and Word specifically. Experience with SPSS or SAS.
• Familiarity with statistical analytics, modeling, or segmentation experience a plus.
