Job Summary:
The role of the Senior Client Success Manager is a critical member of the Strategic Partnership team. The foundation and key expectations around the role will be to help close new business on key accounts & drive renewals & upsells on existing business. The Senior Client Success Manager serves as the central point responsible for flawlessly bridging the handoff and pre to post.
The role serves as not only support but a partner to our Connections sales team. The ideal candidate should be comfortable with both sales strategy & campaign/event execution. This person should come in each day looking for ways to optimize key programs. A typical day requires balancing a wide range of activities including joining sales meetings, contributing to campaign maintenance & evolving strategy, leading partnership kick off calls and finally having a constant focus on what will drive renewal conversations and meaningful reporting both internally & externally. A strong knowledge of cross platform media planning and how brand ties into events will be critical to the success of this team. It is important to note that the role will also handle back of house elements including but not limited to: identifying and collaborating on research, billing responsibilities, media planning and actualization, and more. Strong communication skills are a must, as well as the ability to collaborate with internal sales teams and other departments within iHeartMedia. Success in this position will rely heavily on the ability and willingness to support and contribute to creative cross-platform selling and execution from the ground up, become an indispensable resource to SVP’s, VP’s and Activation Directors and ultimately our client and agency relationships.
Responsibilities:
• Work with VP’s in development and maintenance of client and agency relationships
• Lead account strategy to help generate renewals on sold business and identify new opportunities for upsells
• Manage the launch of Connections deals once sold (confirming all media is booked/reserved correctly, executing signed contracts, communicating final details internally to each business team)
• Prospect new business opportunities with existing partners
• Handle billing and reporting (internal & external)
• Closely monitor and surface client strategies to internal teams
• Responsible for finalizing media plan & making adjustments to media plan post sale
• Bridge position between sales lead & post sale brand activation/content team
• Help design and sell complex media and marketing concepts for Fortune 500 partners
• Attend sales meetings and conference calls with SVP’s and VP’s or alone and clearly detail developments and next steps
• Broaden internal relationships across multiple internal divisions including Marketing, Activation, Events, and Pricing
• Detailed account management via SalesForce, Marketing Requests, and Outlook
• Develop a full understanding of business and deepen relationships across internal sales teams, including MMS, Premiere, Digital, TTWN, and OOH
• Help entertain key and developing clients
• Expand industry knowledge and relationships via trade organizations, publications, websites, etc.
