Job Introduction

Creatives in CEMA/WE are responsible for producing on air trails and Campaigns across the new Genre and legacy brands. They will be responsible for conceptualising, creating and delivering targeted on air materials, translating briefs into effective, inspirational creative. They will also be responsible for creating off air materials such as affiliate, sales, consumer products and regional requirements as requested.
Role Responsibility
The ideal candidate will have excellent conceptual, scripting and editing skills, as well as a keen interest in directing, design and production. They should be happy with a level of responsibility and autonomy, able to plug into a senior network of creatives, specifically the Creative Director and Senior Creatives, but work independently and pitch ideas to internal stakeholders.
Accountabilities
• Develop and create effective promotional campaigns and trails based on marketing briefs. Take part in ideation sessions, always looking for innovative and targeted ways to communicate the message, according to the regional audience.
• Use strong copywriting skills to generate copy, ideas and concepts that best meet the brief and ensure output is highly targeted and respects brand values.
• Work proactively with the Senior Creatives and Creative Director to develop and maximise creative, devising creative solutions for key promotions and off air materials.
• Pitch ideas using scripts, treatments, storyboards and other related material.
• Work closely with a team of regional programmers, managers and media planning to ensure that the work is effective within the territory it serves, both culturally sensitive and linguistically accurate.
• Retain high creative and production standards in all campaigns while respecting brand values and delivering on time & on budget.
• Ensure delivery of the most innovative creative using the best and most effective production techniques for a given project whether specially shot, animated or clip based, using strong visual imagery, design, audio design, music, sync and voice over.
• Direct live action shoots when appropriate as well as edits, VO and audio sessions.
• Work effectively with the broadcast design team to produce high quality graphic
• Design material for promotions.
• Ensure all spots are editorially accurate and in accordance with brand guidelines, as well as in technical compliance for play out.
• Innovative and varied approach to on air trail making, always looking to create world class creative
The Ideal Candidate
Essential Skills:
• A proven track record of creative excellence within the on air TV promotion industry.
• Strong creative skills and creative judgement with a keen interest in art & media .
• Must have a strong eye for detail and ability to demonstrate sound creative judgment.
• Great visual, copy and music sense.
• Fluent in English with some knowledge of localised sensibilities within EMEA advantageous.
• Excellent copy writing, ideation and editing skills.
• Good written and verbal communication skills to pitch ideas clearly and to brief.
• Clear knowledge of the appropriate production processes, relevant tools and techniques.
• Ability to self op at offline level (FCP or Premiere preferred).
• Experience of dealing with contributors (actors, voice-over artists, personalities and presenters).
• Ability to interpret marketing & programming strategies and priorities in order to best deliver to brief.
• Experience of briefing and working with broadcast designers.
• Knowledge of Health and Safety Guidelines.
• Resilience and stamina to sustain performance when under pressure from a high volume of work and conflicting priorities.
• The ability to demonstrate initiative and work flexibly and independently.
