Job Title SEO Analyst
The SEO Analyst combines technical SEO, Internet content strategy, and SEO analytics to provide tactical and strategic support to the content production, product design, and product development teams with the goal of expanding the brand’s presence in organic search. The ideal candidate has experience as a content optimization strategy champion, has worked with a wide range of user experiences and audience acquisition paths, is experienced with technical SEO reviews and audits, and is comfortable providing strategic recommendations based on deep dives into data.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Provide support in multiple subject areas through development of SEO strategies and initiatives that reflect established and evolving business goals related to audience acquisition through organic search.
• Provide training and support for production teams in all SEO-driven acquisition efforts.
• Work closely with product and development teams to provide technical SEO support, recommendations, and QA.
• Provide SEO best practice recommendations based on evolving industry standards.
• Support senior management in gaining and assessing audience insights to drive growth initiatives.
• Provide reporting and analysis around performance in organic search and user trends.
• Work with the extended SEO team to define SEO strategy, tactics, and goals across the digital organization.

Perform keyword-focused research to understand content gaps and opportunities.

Provide content production teams with monthly and ad hoc content optimization data and requests.

Provide ongoing support and training to editors to create SEO-focused production workflows.

Monitor and troubleshoot relevant data to measure SEO health, and work with development and product teams to identify and implement technical SEO updates and to ensure adherence to SEO best practice.

Provide reports and analytics to support senior management in making strategic business decisions in areas affected by organic search.
Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements

Education:
Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred.
Experience:
• 3-5 years’ in-house experience in digital asset management, SEO, Information Architecture or related field.
• Experience in working with onsite, technical, content, video and social media optimization.
• Experience with web analytics tools (Google Webmaster Tools, Google Analytics, Hitwise, etc.)
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
• Firm understanding of SEO best practices and Google quality guidelines.
• Proven ability to identify and troubleshoot onsite issues impacting site performance.
• Proven ability to develop and implement tactics for content strategies to support organic traffic growth.
• Understanding of technical SEO with the ability to communicate with onsite developers and engineers.
• Excellent attention to detail and organization with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment.
• Stellar interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills.
• Knows how to use search data as a tool for content development, content marketing, and audience acquisition
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively and work efficiently in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment.
• Comfortable with presentations, staff training, and communicating with upper management.
• Willing to travel periodically.
