Job Title Social Media Manager, Parents
I. Job Summary

Do you love social media? Can you write a great headline? Are you a trendsetter and data nerd all at once? Parents, Parenting & Fit Pregnancy are hiring a social media manager to grow our social media presence, drive platform engagement and referral.
The Social Media Manager will:
• Develop and execute a social media growth strategy for each key platforms to further extend the digital reach of the brand, drive engagements and referral traffic.
• Develop cross-platform and platform-specific editorial calendar for social media content.
• Collaborate with print and digital teams to develop and oversee cross-channel social media programs.
Determine content needs for social (video, live video, designed graphics, articles, recipes, etc.) and work with content and design teams to create.
• Work with content teams to coordinate social media promotion plan for programs and content created.
• Manage and/or write daily posts for and engages with followers on each social platform, including Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram and new emerging channels.
• Monitor referral traffic and analyzes site and platform metrics to meet both on-site and platform specific goals.
• Collab rate with the digital editors and sales to create and execute any social advertising product. • Implement marketing sponsorships and content partnerships on all social channels.
• Collaborate with teams to manage or onboard any new tool implementions
• Manage team working on social channels
• Manage any paid campaigns.
• Monitor competitor’s social media presence and leverage best practices.

III. Minimum Qualifications and Job Requirements| All must be met to be considered.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business or Journalism, or equivalent training and/or experience.
Experience:
Minimum five years related experience. Interactive Marketing and/or Community experience preferred.
Specific Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Fundamental understanding of the web, user- generated content tools and social media.
Must possess an understanding of basic web principles, including user interface best practices.
Good critical thinking, analytical, and problem solving skills are necessary.
An interest in emerging trends and/or previous social experience is a plus.
Willingness to work outside of standard business hours, if needed
