Responsibilities
NBCUniversal Content Innovation and Creative Marketing is seeking a Coordinator, Digital Marketing to support its Strategy and Digital team in the development, execution, and evolution of its network of business-to-business sites and social profiles. Additionally this role will support the ideation and creation of first-in-kind content for clients and advertisers. This position reports to the larger Strategy team and requires an agile digital trendsetter who is able to organize many moving pieces in a fast paced, creative environment. This position will be required to lead in the development, execution, and evolution of strategic initiatives across the NBCU portfolio, particularly focused on the Together Site and affiliated client-facing digital marketing (e-mails, content, and special digital builds).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Develop, execute, and publish content to the Together Site
• Lead in the development and execution of editorial and social calendars
• Assemble daily/weekly analytics report pulling comparative stats from Google Analytics, Facebook Insights, Twitter Analytics, and anecdotal feedback from ongoing monitoring
• Monitor social channels daily evaluating success of editorial calendar, sourcing new content and necessary responses
• Manage follower list for Twitter handles including creating and documenting followers requests, ongoing outreach to influencers, and reporting of key social metrics
• Manage digital communications including client newsletters, and any additional campaign e-mails
• Assist with ongoing property outreach including scheduling monthly and one off meetings, requests for materials, and tracking of website and social updates
• Assist with digital media campaigns against websites and social channels
• Explore and recommend new ways to engage users and grow reach through AMPD/Women@ digital and social platforms
• Keep apprised of all relevant client, industry and technology developments
• Identify and keep abreast of the latest trends and advertising best practices
Qualifications/Requirements
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications or similar field
• Minimum of 1 year of digital marketing/social media experience
• Proven ability to write for different medias and different voices/styles depending on client/assignment
• Strong conceptual and strategic skills
• Strong communication skills
ELIGIBILITY REQUIREMENTS:
• Willingness to travel and work overtime, and on weekends with short notice. Must be willing to work in New York, NY
• Must have unrestricted work authorization to work in the United States
• Must be 18 years or older
• Knowledge of NBCU’s vast portfolio and social
• Comfort level and trust with sensitive information from senior company leadership (including C-suite level)
• Solid knowledge of all things digital across variety of mediums/medias
• Familiarity with the creative community, especially writing and great conceptual thinking
• Present award-worthy book/reel/site, showcasing ability to execute amazing creative in addition to ability to write across different medias (print/broadcast/digital)
• Good contacts with outside vendors
• Self-starter
• Proactive thinker
• Can handle several projects at once
• Ability to take creative direction and implement changes
