NBCUniversal is a leader in providing entertainment programming to the US and international marketplaces. The International Television Distribution division is responsible for the international distribution of NBCUniversal product to all forms of linear and digital media. This includes distribution of current and library theatrical movies, direct-to-video movies, documentaries and specials, plus all forms of television product – scripted TV series, non-scripted TV series, mini-series, animation and TV movies.
Responsibilities

We are looking for an exceptional Communications Manager to drive internal/employee awareness of our amazing assets as well as supporting the external publicity strategies and campaigns for NBCUI Networks’ portfolio of brands. Qualifications/Requirements
Key Responsibilities:
(i) INTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS:
With a primary focus on Internal Communications, this hands-on role, works closely with Marketing, Creative, Corporate and HR teams to bring our content and business strategy to life for International Networks & Distribution employees in EMEA, APAC and Latin America. You’ll need to be an excellent writer with a strong eye for design, effective at employing social & digital communications platforms and enjoy organising events and activations.
Key areas of focus:
Bring our TV content to life for employees
•Create and execute 360° internal campaigns to support key launches/business milestones, fully integrating these with external comms/marketing activity
•Design and deliver campaigns, from asset creation to execution, and measurement
•Example activities include: staff screenings, talent access, competitions etc.
Share our successes
•Source, write and edit content showcasing our businesses for our International news site and video newsletter, sharing successes with the broader NBCUI business
•Responsible for our International Networks and Distribution presence on Jive – our internal social network – maintain pages/group spaces and flag important content for our employees
Drive employee engagement
•Collaborate with our Corporate Comms and HR teams to deliver cross-divisional employee engagement campaigns, as well as supporting the TV HR team with communications around talent development, people news and HR tools
•Support HR and the TV Comms team on internal forums such as Lunch & Learn sessions
(ii) PUBLICITY/EXTERNAL COMMUNICATIONS:
Part of a Central team covering Content Publicity, a portion of your role will include supporting the local territory PR teams on reaching their local goals, with activities such as:
•Publicity initiatives including talent interviews, tours and press junkets
•Corporate/trade initiatives including writing press releases and briefing documents
•Ad hoc projects and initiatives, as they arise
Requirements, Skills & Experience
•Passion for media, entertainment and content
•Highly effective written and communicator
•Digitally aware with a strong working knowledge of internal and external social and digital communication platforms
•Creative, design flair ideally highly proficient in Photoshop and PowerPoint, or very willing to learn
•Confident dealing with executives & employees at all levels, journalists and talent
•Enthusiastic, pro-active and flexible approach with ability to work on multiple projects
•Excellent organisation and presentation skills, with exceptional attention to detail
•Evidence of a strategic approach and robust project planning
•Experience of handling talent/media interviews
•Experience in Communications (including event management), ideally gained within a Media/Entertainment, Digital/Tech or FMCG business
•Degree educated
•Willingness to undertake travel, if necessary
