Responsibilities
Responsible for the day –to-day operations of a segment of the merchandise development process. Assisting Buyers by providing input and direction as it relates to specific tasks and by performing the following duties
• Assists Buyer in populating and maintaining the data in tracking systems necessary in the development and procurement of products; development sheets, initiative sheets, buy plans, assortment sheets, my media box submissions and follow- ups.
• Gathers and recommends information required for project and product development from internal and external business partner; contacting vendors for product information.
• Set up SKUs/Styles. Initial PO’s, Coding, Power Point Presentations
• SKU/Style initiation – Drives with planning and buying teamon determining appropriate comp SKUs for new items
• Communicates any product concerns and facilitates RTVs . Resolves issues with vendors on behalf of the Buyers.
• Populates and tracks interdepartmental request forms such as fixture requests and vendor set up.
• Participates in brainstorm and work sessions for new projects and/or programs
• Assist Buyers with product presentation setup
• Understands and actively participates in Environmental, Health & Safety responsibilities by following established USH policy, procedure, training and team member involvement activities.
Qualifications/Requirements
• 3-5 years’ experience with high profile retail organization.
• High School degree or GED required. Bachelor’s degree in Merchandising or related field preferred.
