Spotify is creating the world’s most personalized music service. The way we communicate to our listeners is an integral part of that goal. In support of that mission, we’re hiring a Product Owner for our marketing automation platform. The objective is to reach the right user with the right message at the right time. We are looking for someone who has deep domain expertise in building and integrating marketing automation systems.
What you’ll do
• Set the high-level mission, vision, and roadmap for the team
• Work closely with stakeholders across the product and business organization to understand their needs
• Define a marketing automation product strategy that unlocks capabilities for stakeholders across the organization
• Work with developers, designers, and QA to deliver on a best-in-class marketing automation platform
• Define the primary metrics for a marketing automation platform that has impact across many facets of the business.
• Define and manage integrations with 3rd party vendors
• Collaboratively working with a team of engineers to accomplish these objectives
• Implementing 3rd party marketing tools
• Building marketing automation systems
• Programmatic communications and lifecycle marketing
• Product Management
Who you are
• You have experience working with and building marketing automation systems
• You have implemented and managed automated tactics such as drip email campaigns, triggered communications, cart abandonment programs, and win-back campaigns
• You have worked on a marketing automation product where high volumes of events were passed through a rules engine to trigger an action
• You have integrated 3rd party marketing automation tools
• You have shown expertise dealing with high-volume high-availability systems
• You have strong interpersonal skills and are happy working in a team environment
• You care about agile software processes, data-driven development, and responsible experimentation
• You have a proven ability to influence decision-making at all levels within an organization, and in a variety of contexts
