Job Description
• PGM QC- to do both Ins/Outs and Real-time QC of Premiere and Revised Programs scheduled in AETN Primetime. Working on the TX Server to locate and validate newly ingested PGM elements for content, duration and proper Broadcast Specification.
• Airschedule/Log Finalization and Validation- Working in Wide-Orbit and Pebble Beach to finalize, complete, validate and electronically deliver Broadcast-Logs as needed for Broadcast Automation.
• Digital Delivery and QC- Working in the Digital Delivery area managing the movement and QCing of spots so they are available for air accurately. Alerting our partners if these spots need to be resent or corrected due to issues in delivery or content discovered.
• Bug & Graphics QC- Finalizing and QCing the On-Air Bugs, Snipes, IDs, Ratings and Graphics that are needed for Broadcast and Streaming Logs.
• Day of Air Content Changes- Learning how to manage and support "Day of Air" Changes as they are made by Production, Legal, Comm-ops, or Marketing in our various scheduling and automation systems.
Learning through doing how to monitor a Broadcast Network by having the opportunity to oversee a Network's Advance Playout of its Primetime feed. Acting as the AETN "MC" of this feed documenting and resolving any errors that would/could occur on-air and correcting these issues before the Primetime Playout of that Network's feed. Opportunities to also sit with actual Playback Ops as they monitor multiple East/West & Streaming Feeds.
