We are looking for a Marketing Assistant to support the Open Access Marketing team in the implementation of tactical marketing activities to promote the portfolio Nature Communications & Nature Research OA journals.
As Marketing Assistant you’ll be extremely well organised, with a keen eye for detail and the flexibility to work on different tasks. Reporting to the Marketing Manager, you will implement print and online marketing campaigns and provide administrative support to the team. It is a varied, fast-paced position that requires juggling multiple tasks and priorities on a daily basis. Responsibilities:
• Support the Nature Communications & Nature Research OA journals Marketing team with implementation of a range of online & offline marketing communications to:
• generate submissions
• drive online usage and readership
• promote content
• To assist the Nature Communications & Nature Research OA journals Marketing team with the implementation of digital and off-line marketing activities, including emails, banner ads, electronic Table of Contents (eTOC) alerts, print ads, conference collateral
• To management the booking of and uploading of monthly eTOC campaigns
• To demonstrate flair of creativity in creating marketing material for journals as necessary and promotional copy / material to fulfil the marketing channels (email, eTOC, banners, print ads, flyers etc.)
• To assist in the co-ordination and distribution marketing collateral to relevant conferences and partner events; working closely with the ORG Conference & Events team
• To manage and book the Nature Communications & Nature Research OA journal’s social media programme & marketing campaigns
• To systematically manage the updates of the Nature Communications & Nature Research OA journal’s microsites and other nature.com pages as necessary
• To assist the Nature Communications & Nature Research OA journals Marketing team with copy, proofreading in a variety of formats, checking for consistency and adherence to the company style and brand guidelines
• To support the Nature Communications & Nature Research OA journals Marketing team with ad hoc projects and support needs internal needs as and when required; demonstrating a high level of flexibility with the team
• Compiling a variety of reports for the Nature Communications & Nature Research OA journal portfolio on a monthly basis and providing accurate information to feed in to written reports
