Overview and Responsibilities
Primarily responsible for assisting with the execution of Nickelodeon Corporate publicity efforts for the network’s off-channel lines, including; public affairs, consumer marketing, partner marketing, sports marketing, business development, ad sales, recreation and the audience and consumer insights groups. Work with senior managers as departmental liaison to various internal departments and external partners, inclusive of prosocial partners, ad sales clients, etc., to manage relationships and contribute to overall publicity efforts across all Nickelodeon channels as needed.
Responsibilities:
• Partner with Director to execute publicity campaigns to promote Nickelodeon’s off-channel initiatives
• Assist Director with the planning and execution of all corporate events, inclusive of the network’s annual upfront presentation and Worldwide Day of Play
• Pitch and secure press coverage, as directed, across print, broadcast and online outlets
• Work with Director to develop and maintain conference calendar to organize speaking engagements for senior leadership and executives
• Maintain departments trade editorial and lists calendar
• Create initial drafts of all necessary press documents including, press releases, media alerts, executive bios, talking points and pitch emails
• Maintain corporate trade and consumer press lists
• Monitor and disseminate media coverage through status reports to executives as directed
Basic Qualifications:
• At least 1 - 2 years Public Relations experience with a network, studio or agency
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and PowerPoint
Additional Qualifications:
• Cision and Photoshop knowledge preferable
