We have an opening for an experienced, innovative, strategic Brand Managerin ourWhitby, Ontariooffice.
Reporting to the Director, Propositions Marketing, the Brand Manager provides guidance and over sight for brand governance – master brand and platform level. The Product Brand Manager works closely with corporate marketing and the MHE brand council to leverage resources for master brand support, learning science narrative / thought leadership, research and related brand level mgmt. The PBM owns brand and NPS tracking metrics and research, market tracking and related competitive insights. The PBM will own the group Spark site, group spending budget and support project mgmt. for the marketing services team. The PBM will also lead special projects assigned by the director of marketing services.
Critical Functions:
• Drive NPS tracking metrics and research, market tracking and related competitive insights.
• Manage CMS assets dbase, group Spark site, group spending budget and support project mgmt. for the marketing services team.
• Special projects assigned by the marketing services director.
• Manage Propositions budget.
A successful candidate will have:
• University / College education – business discipline preferred; or equivalent work experience.
• Three plus years marketing and direct sales experience.
• Marketing communications strategy development and execution
• Demonstrated results across key brand and product marketing tactics – direct sales, emktg., event mktg., CRM systems, Public relations, Channel marketing.
• Market research skill set – market segmentation, brand, communication.
• Best practice marketing automation and ROI skill set.
• Project management skills; ability to oversee a projects simultaneously using own initiative.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Good budget management skills.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet strict deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal, presentation, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Strong ability to influence at all levels within the organization.
• Results oriented with a sense of urgency. Flexible and adapts to change well.
• Desire to learn, ask questions and challenge conventional thinking.
• Always acts with the highest level of ethics and integrity.
• Ability to travel (approximately 10%).
• Microsoft Office – Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, etc.
• MUST have high level of proficiency using a Marketing Automation Platform and CRM.
• Ability to analyze data, use customer research and metrics to identify opportunities and assess efficiency of marketing programs.
