AEG Live, the live-entertainment division of Los Angeles-based AEG, is dedicated to all aspects of live contemporary music performance: touring, one-offs, sponsorship, festivals, and special events with seventeen+ regional offices and over thirty-seven-state-of the-art venues. AEG Live’s most recent tour roster includes The Rolling Stones, Enrique Iglesias & Pitbull, and Justin Bieber.
AEG Live is also the largest producer of music festivals in North America from the critically acclaimed Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival to Stagecoach Country Music Festival and New Orleans Jazz & Heritage Festival.
The Network Manager will report directly to the Director IT Operations and will oversee computing environment by identifying network requirements; install upgrades, manager network processes, and monitor network performance for AEG Live, including festivals and live events.
Essential Duties:
1. Responsible for implementing network specifications by conferring with users; analyzing workflow, access, information and security requirements; design router administration, including interface configuration and router protocols.
2. Monitor networks: Research, analyze, and address any issues, outages, etc.
3. Perform team cross trainings for port activations and event support.
4. Manage network processes, Document network design, perform diagnosis, investigate and resolve issues on network systems for users, tenants, partner activations and events.
5. Support network infrastructure life cycle management, patch management, current network configuration backups.
Required Qualifications:
Required Qualifications (Job Knowledge, Skills, and Education):
1. A minimum education level of: Bachelor of Arts/Sciences Degree in a related field
2. Years of related work experience: 3-5
3. Current and valid CCNA certification (Cisco Certified Network Associate)
4. Excellent grasp of system performance profiling and troubleshooting
5. Working grasp of network and security technologies from Cisco, Palo Alto & VMWare
6. Working grasp of networking technologies including but not limited to, TCP/IP, MAC protocol, wireless protocols, ethernet switches, network cabling, digital signage, multicasting, VOIP and Network Access control.
7. Excellent network management and monitoring skills
8. Able to design and budget IT solutions for venues
9. Exceptional communication skills both verbal and written including network documentation using Visio
10. Excellent teamwork skills and service skills
11. Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and ability to learn applicable business systems
12. Must be able to travel
13. Must be able to comply with all corporate IT policies and guidelines
14. Wireless experience a plus
15. Experience working in live entertainment preferred
