Summary
Responsible for product management activities for all Business Services digital properties, across the full end-to-end customer journey. This includes new customer acquisition and eCommerce experiences, customer onboarding, as well as existing customer purchasing and account management for desktop and mobile. Reports into the Senior Director of Product and Experience Design, and will direct product teams through the full product development lifecycle from idea creation all the way through to product launch and performance measuring while championing creative initiatives that drive sales. Your focus will be on developing products that empower our customers while generating excitement and compelling positive actions.
Core Responsibilities
Sets and manages vision, goals and roadmap for the Business Services digital properties.
Collaborates with cross-functional teams to launch new services, features and enhancements on time and within budget, with a lens for stellar and innovative customer experiences:
-Coordinates with strategic insights teams to understand customer needs, and identifies possible solutions to meet those needs.
-Manages, gathers, and analyzes competitive intelligence data for product lines.
-Applies expertise in state-of-the-art product technologies, and is relied on by top management to serve as a proxy for the market.
-Works with the Sales and Marketing teams to define strategic eCommerce and merchandising solutions that increase sales as well as NPS and customer satisfaction.
-Works closely with engineering and experience design teams to ensure product launches on time and to the original vision.
-Communicates vision, status, and performance metrics to key stakeholders and business leadership on a regular basis.
Directs the Business Services product team, or directly contributes to, the following product management tasks:
-Develops business cases and supporting documentation.
-Conducts daily stand ups with working groups as needed.
-Works in an agile framework.
-Writes user stories, drives grooming sessions and prioritizes the backlogs of multiple products and programs.
-Develops detailed product features on an on-going basis, aggressively identifies opportunities for improvement, documents requirements, and develops implementation plans.
-Participates in product modification, cost reduction, margin analysis, advertising and promotion, forecasting, product positioning, and pricing strategies.
-Directs the product planning and scheduling process according to sales volume, inventory requirements and materials availability.
-Establishes and implement policies and procedures needed to achieve goals.
-Provides product support and documentation and develops product materials.
-Performs best practice research and benchmarking, conducts competitive analysis and develops strong understanding of stakeholders to drive development decisions.
-Other responsibilities also include: gathers input to define product concepts, justifies expenditures for products, defines and analyzes markets and evaluates technologies.
Additional responsibilities:
-Develops, mentors, and trains Product Managers and Specialists to ensure department work performance and objectives are met.
-Demonstrates excellent project management skills, with a proven track record of successful delivery of projects on time, in line with budget expectations and to strategy.
-Accountable for profit and loss or budgetary management of assigned products.
-Consistent exercise of independent judgment and discretion in matters of significance.
-Regular, consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) as necessary.
-Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Education and Experience
Education Level-Bachelors Degree or Equivalent
Field of Study Business
Years of Experience 10+ years related experience
-Experience in eCommerce and a proven track record of increasing sales.
-Experience in B2B is a plus.
