SUMMARY
The leader in this role serves as a direct report and trusted business partner to the SVP and Chief Revenue Officer of Spectrum Reach. This position will lead Digital Sales and Strategy across the Spectrum Reach footprint and portfolio of digital products. This role is responsible for driving digital sales and achieving the sales revenue target of $100m+ in 2017.
Spectrum Reach is the advertising sales division of Charter Communications, Inc. RESPONSIBILITIES
• Lead a successful digital team with an understanding of individual talents and team strengths to meet client needs and expectations.
• Build and maintain broad-based relationships with clients, business, industry and professional networks to assist in driving business development and gaining insights.
• Be a thought leader and evangelize the value of digital advertising on Spectrum Reach through the development of innovative and unique strategic partnerships with clients and business leaders.
• Ensure that digital sales results are consistent with plan/budget and develops proactive mitigation and strategies. Develop and execute sales plans that will generate new business, grow existing business and hit sales goals. Total 2017 revenue target is $100 M.
• Provide deep, strategic insight into the competitive landscape and bring perspective to Spectrum Reach’s leadership team in order to achieve best in class status for our digital sales. Remain current on new technologies, marketplace adoption and internal adoption of digital products to support the needs of the organization and clients. Develop future paths to grow our leadership in the Digital sales space.
• Work collaboratively with Product, Operations and Marketing teams to develop and enhance products, and ensure successful activation, deployment, fulfillment, delivery and campaign management.
• Serve as a key member of the sales leadership team and provide executive level insight and leadership in assessing, developing, and implementing both long term and short term strategies and initiatives that define our digital value proposition, differentiates our products and enhances our competitive advantage.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
• 15+ years in related media management and/or advertising sales experience, with a proven successful track record of meeting and exceeding goals
• 10+ years of Sales leadership experience with at least 5-7 years of Digital Sales
• Proven track record of inspiring and building client strategy teams and revenue
• Managed large sales organization (50+ employees) with a track record of success.
• Deep knowledge of Digital infrastructure, ad operations, data analytics, yield analysis, advanced Digital media platforms, Interactive Media, DRTV, client & relationship development.
• Excellent organizational skills and analytical skills.Critical thinking, problem solving, and superior customer focus.
• Strong strategic, interpersonal, communication, collaboration, presentation and time-management skills and ability to execute initiatives within the team and company as well as customers.
• Strong influencer with experience working with a geographically distributed sales team
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Advanced degree, such as a MBA, or equivalent combination of education and work experience
