POSITION OVERVIEW:
This seasoned Sr. Director manages the Spectrum Enterprise Sales Operations resources dedicated to supporting the Spectrum Enterprise Business Services Sales organization. Those resources include three primary areas of focus.
1. Strategic Opportunity Facilitation – This Sr. Director is responsible for a team of Enterprise Opportunity Specialists that provides pre-sale facilitation of approvals for large individual case basis orders for Enterprise Sales. This team manages the process of securing special pricing/terms, engineering, product, legal, and finance approval for large complex sales opportunities. This includes negotiations and program management of strategic deal development as well as managing cross-functional inputs required to support strategic deals.
2. Enterprise Sales Support – Direct Business Services resources that provide strategy development, process design and control, project support, and implementation of key initiatives in support of Enterprise senior Sales leadership.
3. Business Services RFP Support – This Sr. Director will oversee a team dedicated to the production of RFPs (Request for Proposal) along with coordination of vendor responses and Form 470’s.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Oversight/management of Enterprise Opportunity Specialists
• Direct management of RFP Resources and Strategic Proposals
• Coordination/delivery of Special Project Support
• Participation in development, planning and implementation of key Enterprise Sales strategic initiatives
• Coordination of teaming across business services support groups and boundary partners, including Finance, Engineering, Product, Pricing, Sales and Sales Engineering.
• Control and management of key Status and metrics reporting on large deals order activity and related project management activities
REQUIREMENTS:
• Seven or more years of relevant leadership experience desired.
• Ten or more years of relevant sales operations experience in the telecommunications business-to-business industry.
• Strong financial and business acumen.
• Basic use of Salesforce.com Reporting and Case Management, Time Management, Project Management, and Organizational Skills.
• Proficient with Microsoft Excel, Power Point, Word. Access.
• Strong interpersonal skills with senior level management and relationship building skills with peers and functional business partners.
• Excellent written, communication and analytical skills.
• Working knowledge of computer networking, LAN and WAN technologies, high-capacity and fiber connected networks required.
• Strong networking, negotiation and closing skills required.
• Requires ability to multitask, as well as work efficiently and effectively within required deadlines required.
• Ability to learn quickly and apply that knowledge, along with the ability to work in a team environment is required.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university required (Business-related field).
